Independent Learning Projects

Gipsy Hill

Each term, children from across Gipsy Hill Federation have the opportunity to take part in an independent challenge project, encouraging them to stretch their thinking and use their creativity to explore their world and present their ideas in a multitude of different ways.

These projects are not compulsory, however we do encourage as many of our children as possible to take part and always take time to celebrate each and every entry.

Past projects have included the investigation of ‘Heroes,’ ‘The A-Z of Everything’, ‘What’s Beneath Your Feet?’ and ‘Inventions that Change the World’.  All of these projects have been very popular with the children, who broadened their learning at school through their participation.
